Well, I am beginning this blog tonight. Hopefully this will be easier than the website, which I started but could not readily edit.
This photo of me was taken by my daughter Auriel in a tea room in China Town, San Francisco (Aug. 2006).
I love tea, especially floral-scented teas, like Jasmine & Earl Grey. I like the green teas too.
Eventually I hope to post some of my artwork here as well.

So, what's wrong with "contrary to conventional thought"?!?!
I guess since you're "copying" right now, your teacher's and your own criticisms are valid to a point, but Steve, you make excellent drawings (I can do a mean stick figure myself! LOL), and I look forward to seeing you draw your own visions, rather than attempting to "recreate" per se, a time when you are not limited by something being "too this" or "too that" based on prior concepts and are reflecting what you yourself want to convey without restrictions.
Oh, and this blog is perfect timing in celebration of #23!
